In 1993, Elizabeth G. Loggia founded the solo practice of Elizabeth G. Loggia, Esq., L.L.C. in the Historic District of Rockville, Maryland.  An active member in the legal community, Ms. Loggia routinely represents clients in a wide range of issues.  She uses her many years of of legal experience to focus on the areas of:

Securities and Exchange Commission- Attorney advisor (1992-1993): Reviewed registration statements, proxy materials, periodic reports, correspondence, and other filings with the Division of Corporation Finance for compliance with securities laws, rules, and regulations

National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, Herndon, VA - Associate Corporate Counsel (1987-1991): Provided legal advice and policy direction to the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation concerning new financial programs, with particular emphasis on non-standard and large transactions and tax-exempt bond issues; coordinated complex multi-party financial agreements; prepared and devised new and innovative financial products; guided the formation of new related corporations; and participated in litigation and bankruptcy cases.

Student Loan Marketing Association (Sallie Mae), Washington, D.C.-

Assistant General Counsel (1986-1987): Specialized in non-standard and complex transactions, coordinating, drafting, closing, and ensuring the correct execution of all documents. Served on task forces to develop new loan products. Handled trademark and copyright, compliance, and antitrust issues and advised on litigation.

Senior Staff Attorney (1983-1986): Participated in the formulation of products and documentation, prepared transactional documents, represented the corporation before government agencies and third parties, and assisted in litigation.

Staff Attorney (1980-1983): Conducted research and prepared papers on legal matters affecting the corporation, including corporate obligations with regard to affirmative action and a survey of state consumer credit legislation. Chaired task force to evaluate corporation's insurance coverage.
